This term one of our focuses in Maths is on developing a range of problem strategies to use when we are solving problems.
At this stage we have focused on using diagrams to help us - that is strategy one. The second strategy is to guess and check answers. Mrs P has given us a range of problems to practice using these strategies and this Friday we will take part in the second set of the Otago Problem Challenge. This is where we have 30 minutes to solve 5 word problems.
